Post Using an email template in RoundCube webmail

Hello everyone...This is my first post
I would like to create and use email templates within the RoundCube WebMail application. Has anyone had any luck with this type of task?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Default Email templates

    Hi all,

I'm also interested in using email templates in roundcube.

We use it for business, it will be really useful. It will avoid to make a copy/paste of an HTML source code each time we want to send an email to a client.

Several posts have already evoked this subject, but there are no replies.

This functionality will be introduced soon in roundcube? If not, is there a way to implement it relatively simply?

    Thanks

    hello,
email templates in roundcube would help me to use some mailtext over and over. Is there a plugin for this?

There's no need for such feature since we have "Edit as New" feature.

Select a message and click on the wheel in the button menu (most right icon). A menu pops down. And one of the options is 'Edit as new'.

You wouldnt even need 'Edit as New', if you could say that a specific folder was handled like the Drafts folder. Lets say I make a 'Templates' folder, and drag drafted message templates in there. It would be really cool if you could then just double-click those template mails and be in the compose window, just like it does with Drafts.

This would be awesome. Right now, I can choose a predefined Message from the folder, but the email will be changed while choosing.
