Thread: Spell Check Unable to connect to google

Hi,
We're trying to get the spell check to work, but in our error log we get the error [<a href='function.fsockopen'>function.fsockopen</a>]: unable to connect to ssl://www.google.com:443.
We have OpenSSL and Socket modules enabled, you can see our php config at PHP Test.
Running telnet google.com 443 also seems to work through SSH.
Any ideas?
Edit: I thought I'd add it is running on a VPS based on Microsoft Virtual server with cPanel.
