Not all e-mails showing in webmail inbox

It's strange, but not all e-mail messages are showing in my Roundcube inbox with some accounts. Mostly just the e-mails of the last week don't show up. What could be the problem?

Is there two pages of emails? Do the emails go at some time, like 3days affter being read?

No, it doesn't do that.

does it help to disable caching, did the trick for me (or, try clicking 'just another folder' and then inbox again)
