Default LDAP Setup?

I have a question regarding LDAP Setup with RoundCube. I found the section in the main.inc.php file where you setup LDAP, but it does not show how to set it up if you need to authenticate to your LDAP server. Does anyone have any documentation on that?

Thanks!

Are you asking about:
  • Authenticated binding to the LDAP server to perform address book queries, or
  • Initial authentication of RoundCube user during login using LDAP as the authentication source?

I can't speak for the original poster, but

Authenticated binding to the LDAP server to perform address book queries
is what I am curious about.

I am on a college campus and we require authentication to search the directory.

There's an open ticket in the Trac system in which this request is documented (#1484159).
We should be addressing many of the tickets in the next few weeks, so it may be addressed during that effort.
