I'm still unable to save a message to Drafts at all....

Same as in many recent releases - multiple address book selections don't work...

You can read the comments about the spellchecker comment in the Unofficial SVN Snapshot post.
I had to install php5.0-openssl. After that it worked fine

i had php4-openssl installed but the spell checker still doesn't work.
