Integrate Roundcube with MyBB?

This is really a theoretical question, I'm just wondering if it can be done.

I have a MyBB forum, all registered members get a free email account (at the moment they have to PM me and I manually set up the email account. I'm still waiting for the auto-sign up patch to work with RC1). So at the top of the forum is a link to "Webmail". I've installed RC1, so the webmail link takes members to the roundcube login page.

So here's what I'd like to be able to do:

1. When members register to the forum, an email account is automatically created with the same username/password as their MyBB account.
2. Roundcube takes the username/password from the MyBB session so when users click the webmail link, it takes them straight to their inbox. And I can replace "logout" with "back to forum" or something similar.

I know this is not a simple tweak, just wondering how this could be done in theory.
