ok but is there a way to test roundcube with free imap mail servers such as fastmail.fn, just to see how it works before setting up the original mail server

You'd go to his site (mail.skaero.com) and enter the username and pass he's given you...

Roundcube is a webmail application (installed onto the server) not an email client that you install and run on your local machine.

Hope that clears things up for you

Not true what he wants to do is to you his computer as a sever using xampp. The demo account was for roundcube, That the mail sever an email and password that could be used to test roundcube.

To ozenbas,
All you need to do is install roundcube to your htdocs. Just use the install instructions that are in the roundcube folder.

If you have installed roundcube then you should see a roundcube login with a username, password, a mail sever boxs. just put in the username, password, and mail sever that I gave you before.
