Default Undefined subroutine -- can't login

My programmer is helping me install and
ultimately test out RoundCube (can't wait to use it on my site)...

... But he had a problem installing it. Here's what he wrote:

Hey Mark,

I attempted an installation on my site for a half hour, and
never got it to run at this point.

Here's what I can tell you I've experienced:

1. One of the PHP files had some undefined subroutine causing it not to run.
I edited it, and got it running, but I'm not sure if that's why I still
can't login.

Before I write him back to ask what file he had problems with,
has a similar problem been discovered... if so, can you point
me to the post on this forum?

Thank you in advance for both great software (and super fast
replies to my other posts).

Cheers,
Markus Allen
