« on: November 20, 2012, 05:44:13 AM »
Hi, i have a Synology DS211 on roundcube 0.4 with 5 pop3 account configurated, i use imap protocol for read mail on nas with outlook.
Sometimes roundcube external pop3 utility falls asleep and don't receive mail from my pop3 account. For solve i must enter into roundcube GUI and click on "receive" button for solve this issue.
I don't know if problem depend from roundcube or synology mail system, but i noticed that i must enter in each roundcube user GUI for solve problem on each user.

Do you have any idea about this problem?

Thanks!

RoundCube doesn't support POP in any way so the problem must be elsewhere in your setup.

But in the configuration panel there are external pop3 settings, it's roundcube 0.4

It must be a plugin from Synolog as that isn't part of the default RoundCube install. I would recommend you contact Synolog for support.

You are correct.

But Roundcube, as seen on the Synology devices, is a plugin, as previously stated.

It is part of the MailStation plugin, and has been modified to include POP3 support which is unique to the Synology implementation.

Therefore support is best garnered from http://forum.synology.com/enu/.
