CANT SEE EMAILS

Hello,
Sometimes there is a little box saying I have 1, 2, 3, or so new emails, but these do not appear in my emails.
Why is this ?

That could be many things...

*) What version of Roundcube are you running?
*) What browser are you using?
*) Are there any JS errors in the browser?
*) Is there anything in the Roundcube error log?
*) Do you have IMAP caching enabled in Roundcube? If so try with it disabled
*) Do you have any plugins enabled in Roundcube? If so try with them disabled
*) Do you have any other clients connected to this account at the same time (POP3 or IMAP)? If so try with them dissconnected

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately I cannot understand any of your questions, I don't suppose the emails are important.
