API Based Plugins / New Plugin: CalDAVZap
« Last post by Loguithat1955 on Today at 03:31:22 AM »
Since no one of the calendar plugins do successfully sync with Roundcube or have problems with recurring events or duplicate events, i have written a small plugin which includes the wonderful CalDAVZap directly in to Roundcube. SSO is working, as long, as you use the same credentials for Roundcube and your CalDAV source. You must have a working instance of CalDAVZap first on the same server.

Currently only Larry Skin is supported, since this plugin was designed only as a workaround for my personal need, but i would like to share it with the community. You can find the plugin at https://plugins.roundcube.net/packages/offerel/caldavzap

1.3.4 says 100%.

https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/milestones

Is 1.4  next after that?!

I'll likely wait for 1.4 before I officially start using a fresh new install on my newest domain name.

Is there a Elastic Demo to Test?

I have a 250 by 50 animated banner.  I assume that'll fit on the Elastic skin!  :--)

these functions are used to detect file types of attachments and things like that. have you done what it says and checked that your mime_magic config option is set correctly?

About how soon until the first stable version of Elastic?  Is that going to be the default skin for Roundcube?

I think the plan is to release it as part of Roundcube 1.4 but I'm not and rc dev so I cannot tell you for sure

you cannot compare using release versions of a piece of software to bleed edge dev versions

That Git Hub page doesn't seem to mention devel_mode.  I searched to find where to change  (devel_mode) to true.  :--)

when running bleeding edge dev a certain amount of prior knowledge and experience is assumed

did you follow the steps here https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/blob/master/INSTALL#L41, particularly the bits about the dependencies?

General Discussion / Re: PHP Fatal error: Class 'Sabre\VObject\Property\Text'

I just added ( after a lot of trials) :
include "/usr/share/roundcubemail/plugins/libcalendaring/vendor/sabre/vobject/lib/Property/Text.php";
in libvcalendar.php  .
I should learn someday how composer works but this time it certainly failed.

Pending Issues / installing plugins with only FTP access
« Last post by schwim on November 22, 2017, 02:08:36 PM »
Hi there everyone!

I'm trying to figure out how to get a calendar working in my Roundcube install and am trying to start with plugin-manager and keep coming across instructions like:

    clone Roundcube
    cp composer.json-dist composer.json
add your plugin in the require section of composer.json
    composer.phar install

I understand the instructions of renaming composer.json-dist and adding the plugins into that file but how do I perform the final instruction of composer.phar install or it's equal via FTP?

I'm sorry for such a basic issue but would really appreciate the help in getting a calendar up and running.

Thanks for your time!

Pending Issues / Fileinfo/mime_content_type configuration: NOT OK
« Last post by schwim on November 22, 2017, 12:52:25 PM »
Hi there,

Forgive me for what very likely is something I should be able to decipher but my searching isn't resulting in anything useful.

I installed the release-complete from the website today and during final install, got this message:

Quote
Test filetype detection
Fileinfo/mime_content_type configuration:  NOT OK

Check the Fileinfo functions of your PHP installation.
The path to the magic.mime file can be set using the mime_magic config option in Roundcube.
Mimetype to file extension mapping:  OK

I'm able to use the install successfully and have not noticed any errors.  Do I need to do something about this and if so, what would it be?

Thanks for your time!
