Pending Issues / Re: installed but can't get in
« Last post by JohnDoh on Today at 03:55:18 AM »
there is no default username or password. roundcube is an imap client nothing more. you login with what ever creds are valid against your imap server.

the connection to storage server failed suggests you have not properly configured roundcube to connect to your imap server. check the default_host config option.
Pending Issues / installed but can't get in
« Last post by wsxian on August 18, 2017, 06:22:50 PM »
I installed roundcube from softculous on a directory in my website public-html called mail-round.  It installed successfully.
Email sent to me the first time I installed it with no mention of user name, but password was shown as ********
Could not get in, not knowing the admin user name so deleted install
Reinstalled.  Still no mention of default user name, just the password.
Still can't get in.
I can go to my website and though Cpanel, open up the email to admin77 and it will go to roundcube (i set it as default client).
But I have not yet been able to get into roundcube from the directory mail-round.  Tried lots of different user names and passwords.
admin77 gives the error "connection to server failed"  so do many other tries.
My username for the website gives "Invalid Request!  No data saved."
my website uses https

any suggestions?
cause this is frustrating :(
General Discussion / cc/bcc fields show by default
« Last post by soalivetoday on August 18, 2017, 12:34:24 PM »
Hello, I just changed web hosting to Hostgator and am starting to work with Roundcube as my default webmail.  I like a lot about it but one feature that we use extensively is bcc which we use with Highrise task management system.  Every e-mail has a bcc: in it to send to Highrise folders.  Is there any way to set the bcc: and cc: fields to show all the time as default?  I see you can add a default bcc: address but we use many different bcc: addresses to assign to Highrise cases.  Thanks in advance.

Issues & Bugs / Re: 1.3 larry skin not displaying correctly

Yes, thanks. It is something to do with Chrome / and or the extension I have. I tried in a vanilla install of Firefox and the problem doesn't occur. I'll have to go through the extensions one-by-one and see which one it is.
Requests / Roundcube search() function - Search criteria provided by array missing
« Last post by Cuiry on August 17, 2017, 08:53:49 AM »

I'd like to kindly ask you if there is a chance that this TODO will be fullfiled?
TODO: Search criteria should be provided in non-IMAP format, eg. array
It is located in these files:

$str parameter is String and I'd really need that I can input Array as a parameter and it's going to filter emails according to the array values.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
API Based Plugins / Calendar Plugin - visibility of Invite reply messages
« Last post by ptalke on August 17, 2017, 06:30:09 AM »

I am running Kolab 16 with Roundcube 1.2.5-8.1.el7.kolab_16 on Centos 7.
When I receive an Invite and accept the Invite, there is the Option to provide a comment to the accept message.
How is it possible to see the comment afterwards?
The accept-message is not stored in the "Sent" folder as I am used to in Exchange/Outlook
Is there any way to see the content of my Accept message after I have sent it?

Thanks in advance and regards
Pending Issues / Messages not marked as read in 1.3.0
« Last post by jfallesen on August 17, 2017, 04:38:42 AM »
Just upgraded to 1.3.0 and have noticed that messages are not marked as read after reading them.

  • Larry skin
  • Two-column view
  • Messages open in same window on double-click
  • "Mark previewed messages as read" set to never

If I open a message, read it and then return to the mailbox, the message is still marked as unread.

Changing the "Mark previewed messages as read" option to immediately resolves the issue but this then obviously means I cannot use the preview feature without messages being marked as read.

This was working perfectly fine in 1.2.x.

Is this a bug or have I missed a new setting (I have tried looking for one)?

General Discussion / Password Plugin with SQLite3 on ubuntu 16.06
« Last post by rdas on August 17, 2017, 03:47:36 AM »
I am trying to configure the password plugin. The database is sqlite. The path to the sqlite file is (write permission given to www-data group):

$config['password_db_dsn'] = 'sqlite:////etc/postfix/sqlite/db/postfix.db';

I am unable to connect to the database. I see the following message in logs/errors:

DB Error: [14] unable to open database file (SQL Query: update...

I cannot find out why this is happening. Do I need to install any additional pear package?
