Title: Another question about Svn and the WYSIWYG editor
Post by: Melinda on July 26, 2011, 06:07:43 AM
Ive done a search and found lots of questions about the WSYWIG editor, but Im afraid after reading trough them all, I did not understand the instructions about the 'svn.'

I did an automatic install of Roundcube via Cpanel and Softaculus a few days ago and assumed it was the latest version.

I would be grateful for an explanation of svn (subversion?)

And also a very simple guide to setting up the WYSIWIG html editor.

Please Im not a technician or a developer, so simple step-by- step instructions would be best for me!

Thank you.

Mel.

The SVN (short for subversion) version is the latest development release of RoundCube. I'm not sure what you mean by setting up the WYSIWIG editor, its been in the stable version of RoundCube for years.

Hi Skaero,
thanks for replying.

Here is a screen grab of roundcube as I see it when I compose messages. No editor!

Any ideas of how to access the editor? The forum threads about it were from like 2006!
Hopefully, its just some easily corrected silly error Ive made.

Thanks for your time.

Mel

UPDATE!

PLease ignore me! Ive just checked, and if I play with my screen settings, a small html drop down box appears on the bottom right.

The same thing happened with the 'create folders' function!
