Default Folder: IMAP Error / Logouts

Hello,

I am facing two rpundcube RC2 problems:

- Often when I go to the preference pane and change a parameter, I get logged out afterwards
- Log-in, sending et al works fine with IMAP though when I go to the Folder pane, I obly get an IMAP error (though I can see all my folders when I am working with roundcube)

Anyone having similar problems? I have now gone back to RC1 - everything worked fine there.

Thanks,
Helmut

A nice Tuesday morning,

I'm glad, that I'm not the only one. I posted this problem a while ago here: SVN 849 - Settings -> Folders => IMAP connection lost

Hope, that this will get solved soon. I stay with rc2, but this is such annoying, 'cause I cannot use the settings anymore.

@Florianer

The workaround in your link is also working in the rc2.

OK, but maybe a silly question: Why has it to be a workaround? Why doesn't it find its way to one of the svns released till yet? The bugtracker system with the tickets... who reports the bugs and opens a ticket? I always guessed, the developers read within the forum and opens the tickets (or the forum mods). Should this be something we should also do? But wouldn't this spam the ticket system in an unwanted way? This should not sound unfriendly, but its more my ignorance why I'm asking about this basics...

I think this is a beta and the developers don't have the time to look in every post in the forum. But anyone can open a ticket. By the way, my rc1 have had many changes by myself to make RC running on my Server.

Greetings Jo_shi

The solving mentioned in SVN 849 - Settings -> Folders => IMAP connection lost worked perfectly well for me.

Thanks for the link, Florianer!

v0.1 RC2

edit:
Well, it's not working that good as I thought...
The first time I'm creating a new directory everything is fine.
On the second time I'm getting the error message "An error occured while saving".
But this is only when CREATING a directory. Deleting works everytime.
