What about expanding the adressbook functionality with the option to sync with a Funambol DM server using the SyncML protocol ?

We (ISP with 1000+ webmail users, currently using squirrelmail) are planning to use Roundcube as the webmail client for our customers. At the end of 2006 we are planning to deliver Push E-mail (using IMAP_IDLE) to our clients.

The next feature we want to give our customers is Addressbook synchronisation. Customers can sync their addressbook from their mobile phone, using SyncML (Funambol) to a centralized Addresbook server. I am willing to develop such a plug in that enables Roundcube to do SyncML synchronisation. How about it ?

i would be very interested in this, and more than willing to help with testing!
