Default Firebug Extension Breaks Roundcube

All,

Figured this was the best place for it but wanted to let everyone know some hassles I've had with Roundcube and what I thought was a slowdown or a bug with my IMAP. It always froze on "Checking Messages" and just wouldn't navigate properly.

I found this thread:
http://roundcubeforum.net/forum/inde...sg2436#msg2436

and tried turning off/disabling the Firebug extension and it is working brilliant now. Just wanted to give a heads up to developers and users that this extension plays havoc with all the requests.

Default Re: Firebug Extension Breaks Roundcube

Hi Guys,

I have many Firefox extensions installed and one of them is FireBug. Cause I develop at the moment some Web 2.0 applications, I've aktivated the options "Show XMLHttpRequests" and "Show Stack Trace For Errors".

With these Options, Roundcube doesn't work!

I write it here in this Forum just as an information for anyone with the same problem.... to figure out, why it doesn't work, I've spend about 2 hours on it.

So, keep smiling and spread Roundcube more and more :-)

Since they're the same information, merged them into one topic. Thanks for the heads up guys.
