URGENT! - Archiving old emails.
« on: October 24, 2012, 12:27:51 PM »
Hi there,

I'm desperately trying to work out how to archive a whole bunch of old emails in my roundcube account. I want to get them somehow into my Mail.app

please let me know.

regards,

Hi,

roundcube is a mail client just like Mail.app. You should contact your provider and ask them for the IMAP connection details. Using those you could connect Mail.app to your email account and then archive your old email.
Roundcube Plugins: Contextmenu, SpamAssassin Prefs, and more…

shall i just delete my account on mail.app and create it again, would that download all of the folders again completely?

if there is a folder you are subscribed to which is visible in Roundcube but not in other clients then I think you are best contacting your providor may be it is some kind of special folder.
