Hi,
I am a new user to roundcubemail.
I am using latest versions of Appache, mysql, php, phpmyadmin and mercury32 (smtp) on local host test environment.

I have installed software and all ok and tests ok. I cannot log in for the first time. I know there are no entries in the database tables. The error message says not found. Have tried different log in info but all give same error message.

I can see test message in mercury and imap connect ok.

I do not understand problem. Thanks

did you search the forum before posting and trying the various suggestoins?
do you have `auto_create_user` set to true in your roundcube config?
please post the more detailed error messge from the roundcube error log ([rc root]/logs/errors)

Hi,

I have search site but cannot find my problem.

`auto_create_user` is set to true.

There is no error log.

I have reinstalled, checked items  and tests ok.

Same problem - "The requested URL /roundcubemail/ was not found on this server."

Are the latest versions of php etc not compatible with v0.84/ I have experience this before with other software.

Not sure where I go from here. Thanks. Kevo

hi,

you said before that you could not login, but actually you mean you cant find the url. so please can i check when you say:

I have installed software and all ok and tests ok.

do you mean you ran the installer webpage and it was ok?

if you did then did you also try /roundcubemail/index.php?

Hi,

Yes I ran the installer webpage and got ok for all sections. Also the two tests worked ok.

I then entered /roundcubemail/index.php and got login window. I entered my mail address in full in user, password for this account and localhost for server.

On enter that is when I then get message  "The requested URL /roundcubemail/ was not found on this server."

Sorry if I have confused you. Thanks. Kevo

Hi,

On switching on computer this morning the program now works. I do not know why (it would be good to know what the problem was). Can only think of something in the cache which has now cleared.

Anyway thanks for your assistance. Kevo
