Hi,
I run a RoundCube webmail service and currently use SyncKolab (
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/sync-kolab/) to synchronise my local address book on Thunderbird with an IMAP folder on my server. This works very well and I'm quite pleased I can have a central source of my contacts available - I'm not looking to install any new server applications due to this solution working fine for me.
I have been looking for a plugin for RoundCube to interpret and use these stored contacts so RoundCube can too take advantage of this central repository. RoundCube can 'see' the IMAP folder in my Inbox, but it doesn't seem to do anything with it. I've found a few unsupported, official resources but none of them lead anywhere (
http://kolab.org/blog/grote/2012/08/07/alpha-kolab-3.0-and-roundcube-0.8-released and
http://git.kolab.org/roundcubemail-plugins-kolab/). I've installed the plugin into RoundCube from the last link and due to the lack of documentation haven't got it doing much in the way of anything.. Not even sure if it's being used but either way, the contacts in this folder are just emails with the following message:
This is a Kolab Groupware object.
To view this object you will need an email client that can understand the Kolab Groupware format.
For a list of such email clients please visit

Name: All Clients

Notice:
The information above is only valid, if no other client than synckolab updated this message. (ie. a client that updates the attachment but not the message)
..and an XML attachment.
As I understand it RoundCube *is* a supported client (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolab#Kolab_3.x_clients), but it's obviously not tying in properly...
Is there any support for what I want to do? If so, where am I going wrong? Thank you in advance!
