Installing on a hosted web server- www.capnix.com

Hi,

I am using a hosted web server called capnix. I want to install roundcube for my domain zoneb.co.uk. I am currently using domains.live.com for my email for my business however, I would like to use roundcube.

I have downloaded the application, extracted the files and uploaded it to my webserver directory. When I launch the setup via my url, it says database error connection failed.

What do I need to do and how?

I would be grateful for your support asap.

Hate to break it to you but as long as your email is hosted at hotmail/live/outlook.com you can't use RoundCube because they don't support IMAP.

So how can I use this feature. I have just changed the MX records for my email settings, that's why they are using hotmail

You'll need to use an email host that support IMAP, since your using your own domain you can change the MX to a different provider but that needs to be done before RoundCube will work.
