Users not added to mysql db.
« on: December 13, 2006, 11:55:20 PM »
Just installed RC, but can't login. auto_create is set TRUE and I have all the right info for the db.
my error_log show

Authentication for username failed (AUTH): "a000 NO user not found\r\n"Authentication for username failed (LOGIN): "a001 NO Login failed: generic failure"

I ckeck the db and the users aren't being added to it.

using apache2, mysql 5.0.18, cyrus-imap, postfix

it should, I granted ALL to the user, and that user uses another table for a counter and the user can add/mod that table.
I also tried at the accessing the tables as the root and that didn't work either.

Figured it out, the problem was that the I needed to tell postfix that it will be running with cyrus.

 main.cf

Code: [Select]
mailbox_transport = cyrus
