Weird Shared Folders
« on: February 05, 2007, 06:14:53 PM »
I am running a Mac OS X 10.4.8 server on a Xserve G5. PHP 4.4.1, MySQL 4.1.13a, Apache 1.3.33.

After installing Roundcube 0.1 b2, I have had several shared folders appear out of nowhere.

  • ._-cutouts
  • ._-henbill
  • ._-lipoma
  • ._-napalmed
  • ._-putoff
  • ._-scp
  • ._-swankiness
  • ._-unpaving

I have the same entries in /var/spool/imap and /var/imap/quota/q/

Are these part of some debugging thing or do I have somebody lurking around on my server?

They look like hidden system folders starting with the precedding .

If they are empty i wouldnt worry about them.

I have roundcube running on the similar system of OSX and machine with out the files.
