/webmail/installer/ not found on my server
« on: May 31, 2013, 05:14:57 PM »
Hello,

I've just installed a roundcube, but now I have one issue:
When trying to launch a web installer (http://domain.org/webmail/installer) get a 404 error message.

Roundcube is located at /var/www/webmail.

Make sure the directory is there and your server configuration points to and allows access to webmail folder.

Just did it :)

As I mentioned in my other topic, I've had AfterLogic webmail installed, so it was in the same directory.

Is the owner of the files correct?

for /webmail/tmp and webmail/logs owner is www-data, but for all other files&folders the owner is virtuser_501, somewhy...
The group is 80. Changing owner to root did not solved the problem :(

Oh, I've just found the solution - it was another www folder, sorry for that.
Installed Roundcube perfectly, connected it to the database, but the problem is that I am not able to login on domain.org/webmail

I enter admin@domain.org (that is my email address) and its password, but it says that the password is incorrect.
There is no any users yet in the 'users' table.

Depending on your settings, it may be unnecessary to include the "@domain.org" in your login. Try with just the user prefix (the part before the '@') with your password.
