some clients lost they catalog - disapear

Hi fellas,
did you experience mail catalogue lost?
just 3 clients loose they emails recorded into Roundcube.
we don't know why, or how it happen,


i would like to know if someone experienced something like this.

this will help to not lost my clients catalogs?

If yes, why RC does not introduce into next version like a default plugin?

If user login with the email address capitalized differently it will create a new user record in the RoundCube database, check the users table in the database for duplicate accounts.

Hi Skaero,

i found 3 users (same) differing about the mail_host, is suppose to be this duplicate account?

Yes they are duplicate accounts, the contacts and settings should only be on one of them.

other doubt, to prevent this kind of duplicity, i just need to use IP address in imap host?

i other words, if i had IP on imap host since beginning, none of this duplicity was happen?

Yes, but be careful not to delete the one that has the contacts, then change the host on that one to the IP address.
