Spell checker and Firewall
« on: May 03, 2007, 09:42:38 AM »
Hi guys!

First of all, i really like this webclient, i've just migrated from squirrelmail to roundcube.
I have a question about the Spell Checker. Currently on my system it doesn't work.

This because i don't allow outbound HTTP/HTTPS traffic from my web server.
Normally i make exceptions when i need it for something to work.
I have looked through Googiespell.js, but i could not find any sort of destination IP or URL embedded in the script. Also tcpdump'ing didn't help much.
Based on information from orangoo labs i think its connecting to http://www.google.com, but i hope it can be narrowed down to a single IP.
I wouldn't want to add all of google's front-end IP's in my iptables config.

Can someone tell me to where the spell checker wants to connect?
