Can I transfer mail from Roundcube to Roundcube?
« on: October 24, 2013, 05:47:34 AM »
I tried to look for answers in the RCwiki and did a search on this forum as well, but couldn't find anything that matched my dilemma.

So, I have a client that has loads of mail in a Roundcube webmail Inbox.
Their webhotel was changed and so was the webmail ofcourse, to Roundcube.
The email-address even stays the same.

I can save individual e-mail as .eml, but I'd like to move them all as easily as possible.

Is there any way to move all the emails from Inbox in the "old" RC webmail RC to the "new" RC webmail (Inbox?). [/b

Thanks!  :)

Email does not live in Roundcube, it is just an email client (IMAP). Messages still reside on the mail server. If the server has changed, the messages will need to be migrated from the old email provider to the new. How this might be done will depend on the email provider(s) involved, and what email server type (hmail, postfix, etc.). Best to contact the email provides for advice.
