Plugin Manager: cannot install - please help
« on: November 11, 2013, 02:57:25 AM »
Hello,
I'm running ubuntu 12.04 (apache 2, mysql) + ISPconfig 3 + Roundcube 0.9.5
I've tried all bur really I'm not able to install Plugin Manager for roundcube.

I have downloaded and extracted the Plugin Manger files in the following dirs:
/var/lib/roundcube
/usr/share/roundcube
/etc/roundcube

(the first time I've installed PM only in /usr/share/roundcube, then because It do not worked, I'have extrated it in the other dirs)

Then I've editet the main.conf.php to activate the Plugin Manager

BUT when I activate it and go to the webmail login page I have and error instead of the two login fields.

The error says:

MISSING PLUGIN: "QTIP"
Please download the entire package etc.

The strange is the I HAVE QTIP in
/usr/share/roundcube
and in
/var/lib/roundcube
and in
/etc/roundcube

Could you help me to solve this mistery ?
and could you teel me which is the right folder to install the plugins ?
I must put the plugin in /usr/share/roundcube/plugins or in /var/lib/roundcube/plugins or in /etc/roundcube/plugins ?
and which is the main.conf.php I must edit?

Thanks a lot for your attention

regards

Giulio

I'm not familiar with linux, but shouldn't it be stored in var\www\roundcube\plugins folder?
