« on: August 06, 2013, 04:29:28 PM »
Hello

I m trying to install a newer version of roundcube in cpanel and add the calendar for exemple. But i didn t manage (http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/RoundcubeReadme#General_Installation_Procedure)

i went to their documentation but is there anybody experience that could assist me a little bit.

I want simply the 0.9.2 with calendar... is it possible

I personally wouldn't bother with cPanel's version and just install your own copy and customize that.

I am trying to do the same thing, so how do I go about installing a new version and bypassing the pre installed one? What will happen to the pre installed version and will the users lose any emails?

If you want to change version of RoundCube installed within cPanel its best to read there guides: http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/RoundcubeReadme Emails are not stored in RoundCube so you don't risk loosening them by modifying RoundCube.
