SMTP for multiple users
« on: January 02, 2014, 07:01:48 PM »
Good evening all,

newbie learning here!

I now have my Roundcube server working nicely receiving mail from my dovecot server.

The next stage is to set up the SMTP mail delivery side. This is where things get tricky.

I have three users attached to the main server here on the network. Each user has their own email address and mail delivery system. I have a further remote user who is using mail collected from her hotmail account by dovecot. I need to set up the users so that the users here use their name+isp account, and the remote user sends via her hotmail account.

Is this possible? I know I can define a smarthost in sendmail for the 3 users here but the hotmail account has me floored.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? My experience is still very limited but I am really happy with what we have achieved so far.

Working examples would be good, that is how I learn!

Thanks for a great product, so much nicer that Squirrelmail!

Jon

I think your looking for the multiple_smtp_server plugin: https://github.com/unstko/Roundcube-plugins/tree/master/multiple_smtp_server
