why carn't I have my own password?
« on: August 06, 2014, 02:42:57 PM »
Hello
This is my first post and I hope someone can answer my question
The organisation I work for have set up our work emails with round cube and we were given what appears to be a randomly generated password to log on to round cube this was then linked with our Outlook accounts
No one can change their password to something memorable
An administrator within the organisation has access to every ones password and it appears emails are being opened before the intended recipient has read them first
Can anyone shed some light on what’s happening?
Thank you

Roundcube is just the software package your organization has selected to allow web access to email. You need to ask your administrators these questions. No one outside your organization can help you.

Thanks ABerglund
I've read some posts about a plugin to change a password
Can I do this to my account or can only the Administrator change my passwords?
Thank you

Plugin must be installed on the server by whoever runs the servers. Can not be installed by an end user.
