NewB capital N! - Lots of questions
« on: September 25, 2007, 06:47:23 PM »
I have a website for my family and want to provide a nice webmail client and not cost alot to do so. I want to do this without having to go through another service to forward my mail to, like gmail and then use an aliase in the FROM.

So I found this today and have some questions:

I am using myhosting for my site and this is the features and tech specs I have on the site: http://myhosting.com/LinuxHosting/basic.asp

1. Is there an English DEMO version?
2. Can this easily be setup for on my site for my family to access the mail service at myhosting?
3. Could I do the setup being a novice or do I need to find someone to help?
4. Do people help?
5. This is free, correct?

There isn't really a demo version per-se; however, you can cruise on over to http://webmail.patternet.com and log in to your IMAP (not POP3) server.

This is an easy setup. If you need help, you can IM me, or PM me, or almost anyone on the board (or post a topic) or read the forums on installation for help.

You can try on your own. If you run into snags, that's what we're here for. If you want someone to do it for you, I'm sure someone could help you set it up (or do it for you).

Of course people help!! You just have to ask!!

This is completely free. The script is completely free. You can download it, modify it as you see fit. No royalties to pay of any kind.
