Whitespace at beginning of email body
« on: July 07, 2015, 10:02:07 PM »
I'm not sure if I've done something to mess up Roundcube or what, but it seems like ever since upgrading to 1.1.2 (maybe earlier), I'm getting extra whitespace (blank lines) at the beginning of messages that I compose. Looking at the message received, I see this in the HTML:

Code: [Select]
<html><head><meta http-equiv=3D"Content-Type" content=3D"text/html; charset=
=3DUTF-8" /></head><body style=3D'font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial,Helve=
tica,sans-serif'>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<p>test</p>
</body></html>

Notice that extra nbsp stuff. When I composed, I just clicked in the body area and typed test. No hitting enter or anything else.

It doesn't happen to replies, only to new messages.

Any ideas?

Sorry, just realized another post is related or the same as mine: http://www.roundcubeforum.net/index.php/topic,22557.0.html

As a workaround for now, I've changed the reply setting to "start new message below the quote", and then I just click at the top and write my message. No more leading whitespace/paragraph.

Also, I tried a manual update to the latest tinymce, 4.2.1. That didn't seem to help with the issue.

Hmm...after some more testing, it seems like the issue is related to Chrome. I just sent messages in Firefox and IE, and there was no whitespace at the beginning of the e-mail.
