Connection timed out

Hi,
For the last few hours M trying my luck with RoundCube. earlier i installed it on localhost and configured it to read mails from "mail.miraclegroup.com" it was working as charm. but when i set the same configuration for another server it is showing this error:
 "Could not connect to mail.miraclegroup.com at port 143: Connection timed out"

what could be d reason as it was working fine on localhost?

here is the part of log file :

i guess it may b due to d firewall settings.. :-\
