Roundcube and outlook. managing folders
« on: July 06, 2015, 01:37:42 AM »
Hi all.
Very new to roundcube, and looking for a bit of advice.

I'm using roundcube to manage emails while i am away from work. We use outlook at work as our email program.
I have being doing test emails to understand how the 2 interact, and would like to know how i can have all emails/folders downloaded to outlook when i come back from holidays.
At the moment, it seems that outlook will download the roundcube inbox, and mark all emails as unread.
I'd like it to also download the sent items, so i have a record in outlook of any and all email streams that are created.
if possible i would also like the emails that have been read, to be marked as read in outlook.

I am unsure if this is something i set up in roundcube or outlook.

looking through the settings for both, i cant seem to find and settings that have this as an option.

Any help/advice much appreciated,

Cheers

Configure Outlook to use IMAP protocol instead of POP3.
