not able to send or recieve external email
« on: August 28, 2015, 03:13:45 PM »
I've been able to send internal email but not able to send external email

using RoundCube 0.9.2 on Debian

Tried to set relayhost but does not work.

I have mx records set up.

Please let me know what logs or configurations to post

Thank you for your time!

It sounds like you need to look at your mail server.

This is the main.cf, I spoke with a buddy of mine and he said you shouldn't have to set the relay, so I removed it. I think it may be the my_networks part and networks. Since they are set to hosts and 127.0.0.1

Code: [Select]
root@mx:/etc/postfix# cat main.cf
# See /usr/share/postfix/main.cf.dist for a commented, more complete version

# Debian specific:  Specifying a file name will cause the first
# line of that file to be used as the name.  The Debian default
# is /etc/mailname.
#myorigin = /etc/mailname

This is not really the best place to ask. You will probably have more luck in the Postfix community.
