No input file specified. during install

I have downloaded Roundcube 1.1.3 and have transfered the file through my FTP account. Then I want to startup the installation, by going to mydomain.com/installer. But when I do that I just see a blank page where the only text is "No input file specified.".

What is the problem here and how can it be solved?

Thats not an error from the Roundcube install as far as I am aware. Are you sure your server meets the Roundcube requirements? http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Requirements
