Search not working
« on: November 20, 2007, 11:38:08 AM »
After installing my rc2 everything works fine like i want it, i can create folder, can move file to folders, read, delete and send mails.
But the search returned no matches. In my INBOX are about 800 mails and it doesnt matter what i search for, i get always the message for no results.

Config is RC2 (20.10.2007, downloaded at 23.10.2007 (roundcubemail-0.1-rc2.tar.gz)) with xampp from Oktober 2006 and Mercury/32, V4.01b from December 2004. Tested with browser Firefox latest and IE6.

Also the trace from the console is empty. What can i do or what do i wrong (forgot something?) to see the results ?

Greetings from Germany, Andy :-[

no, in the console logfile i have only the entry

Code: [Select]
[21-Nov-2007 08:03:28 +0100]: * CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 X-MERCURY
cp01 OK CAPABILITY complete.
Tried PLAIN: Resource id #28

in the error-file there is only on entry from the time i try to insert my own debug-msg, but after inserting the original code back, there where no more entries there. debug_level is set to 8.

Any ideas ?

Hello,

I have the same issue and I believe the problem is the IMAP server that doesn't support all the IMAP features. Apart from the search not working, also the sorting by date and the like doesn't work.

My client runs the KEN4 IMAP server, which for example doesn't support SORT:
* CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 AUTH=LOGIN ID ACL QUOTA

I believe this is the problem.

Is there any way to get around this?

Cheers,
Roland
