which server
« on: February 03, 2016, 09:28:31 AM »
I installed Roundcube on my VPS using the instructions on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Roundcube. In the setup I did not enter a servername.
When I completed the setup and start Roundcube the login screen asks me the login name, password and (of course) the servername.
What is the best way to handle?
My VPS of course has an IP. One of my domains has the same IP and an A record to that IP.
My VPS provider tells me I can't authenticate on the server which I use in my desktop client. Which server do I have to authenticate?
I have 5 e-mailaddresses to check on 4 different mailservers.
Any help should be appreciated.

Regards,
Guido

The mail server you enter on your desktop should work in Roundcube

I have 5 e-mailaddresses to check on 4 different mailservers.
You should just enter the mail server you want to connect to into the server field
