UW-IMAP Folders Problem - Works for some, not all?
« on: December 18, 2007, 01:51:19 AM »
Hi,
I have been running round cube on our small commercial server for some time now (around 4 -5 weeks).

The problem that some but not all users are having problems with the interface stating inbox as empty.

i.e. When a particular user logs in there are messages in their inbox. They click on junk / trash and then attempt to go back to the inbox, it then states the Inbox is empty.

However in most cases on page refresh or clicking the topmost "E-Mail" icon bring the in box messages back.

I have my IMAP Root set to: imap_root = 'mail'

I am using a standart uw-imap setup with all inboxes under /var/mail/ and all other mailboxes under /home/[websitename]/users/[username/mail/

This set-up works (no empty inbox problem) for some users for some accounts and not for others?

I am beginning to think this has something to do with permissions but i can't figure out where??? Im wracking my brain for other solutions!
Im going  :stupid: !!!!!!!!!!

Any help much appreciated!
