emails not being saved



I have installed roundcube as a part of iRedMail.  It is not saving my emails.  I can see recent emails.  They seem to be deleted after ?? one day.   I see no simple switches to "save" or "delete" emails after a defined period of time.  seems like a mandatory and simple switch.    How can this be configured?

I used Outlook which does solve my problem, but I want to know how and why the Round cube webmail does not mirror my saved emails.

Roundcube doesn't have such a function so it must be something that your mail server is doing or another client (like Outlook) is deleting the mail off of the mail server.
