Outlook configuration IMAP: what ports/outgoing serve
« on: April 09, 2019, 07:53:58 AM »
Hi

I may have completely misunderstood what Roundcube is, my apologies. Maybe it can't be used for what I am doing?

I am using my work roundcube email adress through Outlook and my emails are not sending. I receive emails fine.
This is the error message I receive when I try to send. "Authentication failed because Outlook doesn't support any of the available authentication methods."

I am assuming this is an issue with the incoming/ outgoing sever name or the ports I have specified. What ports should I be using for Roundcube?

Saying "roundcube email address" is like "outlook email address". does not make sense.

roundcube is a mail client similar to the Outtlook app you use on your computer, it does not have any server info of its own. you need to contact your email provider for the server info.
Roundcube Plugins: Contextmenu, SpamAssassin Prefs, and moreā€¦
