Identities
« on: April 12, 2008, 09:53:33 AM »
We just switched our hosting to a new company and this company uses Roundcube for their email, thus our email has switched as well.

They created one account for us (for argument's sake, let's call it account1). Now, under this account1 user I have two identities configured (ID1 and ID2). I can send and receive mail from ID1...both in webmail and through Outlook. However, with the new ID2 I created, I can only send mail from it out of webmail, but any replies to it or any new mail to it are bounced back. Additionally, there's a third email address for which I don't have an identity created that is somehow able to receive mail.

Can someone please advise on this? Are identities the equivalent of separate email addresses? In other words, if I create ID99, should email be able to be received by ID99@mydomain.com?
