Question filter setup
« on: April 02, 2021, 09:33:53 AM »
Hello all,

would like to create a filter where I enter all email addresses to keep it a bit clearer.

How do I create this filter/rule best ?

There should be about 20 different email addresses together automatically read and moved to a separate folder.

Thank you for your help!

Stay all healthy!

There is no filtering built into Roundcube out of the box but there are plugins available for different methods/backends depending on what your setup supports.
Roundcube Plugins: Contextmenu, SpamAssassin Prefs, and moreā€¦

Hey John, I installed managesieve plugin and there are already rules for single emails but the rule for all newsletter mails from 20 different senders don't want to be marked as read and also don't want to be moved.

Rule is set to:
applies to all following rules
''from'' >>> contains >> address 1 @xyz.com
''from'' >>> contains >> address 2 @xyz.com
''from'' >>> contains >> adress 3 @xyz.com

...perform the following actions:
>>set marker on message : read
>>move message to : newsletters
>>stop rule evaluation

if i enter the addresses one by one it works without probelme. all in one rule through + then nothing works.

Do you have any advice for me?

Stay healthy

Use "matching ANY of the following rules"
