Need help with rescue effort, ZIP download

Hi everyone

I am or better I was running an iRedMail setup... I updated the OS and nw the whole thing is in limbo.

Currently I can still access my mails via Roundcube but I can no longer connect with external mail clients... therefore I'd like to save my mails through roundcube.

I want to download all mails as a ZIP file. My Roundcube version is 1.3.0 and on the about page, zipdownload 3.3 is listed as an installed  plugin. I have edited the plugins config file /opt/www/roundcubemail/plugins/zipdownload/config.inc.php.dist and set  $config['zipdownload_selection'] = true;

However I still can't select several mails and download them... the download option is just grey.

I have installed php7.4-zip via apt.

Can anyone help me get this working?
