Roundcube Webmail 1.4.9- Contact list is now empty
« on: February 26, 2024, 04:20:58 AM »
Hi As a New Zealand non-profit communtiy based club we have been using roundCube for years.
Today I logged on after about 5 days and we now have a new 'look'  - we are now on "Roundcube Webmail 1.4.9.
This was all well as I could see my emails, but SADLY, all of our contacts have gone.

All of our members contact details are no longer available
- email address, contact phone number, subscribtion type.
- We alway send to members as BCC, so there is no referrence in our 'sent' items

All of our club contacts are no longer available
- other camera clubs
- judges - and we send print to them so we no longer have their addresses

Any occassional visitors, their email address that we stored in our Contacts.

Is there anyway you can retireve our list of contact please?  Preferred to our current version, or even a CSV would be sufficient.

We can still send/receive emails to/from info@marlboroughcameraclub.org.nz

You will need to contact your email provider for support. Roundcube is not a service, it's open source webmail software your email provider is using to provide you with webmail access to your email.

Thank you for your quick reply
- I am a little surprosed that our email provider also stores our 'contacts' - however, I will forward an email to them to check.
Cheers
Carol

Contacts are stored in the database that is setup for Roundcube. Most likely the default host has changed and a new user records has been created for each user.
