Change subject of a reply/forward message before shown in the editor

I'd like to make a plugin which changes the subject in case reply or forward is used. I thought "message_compose" would be the right place, but as far as I see the subject is not yet there when this is called.

Can anybody tell me which callback I need to change the subject in case of creating a reply/forward message?
