What do you guys think?
« on: May 10, 2008, 09:17:33 PM »
Hi folks,

I wanted to ask you (roundcube forum users) about hosting plans and companies. Which web hosting plan do you guys use and what features it has? Also which companies are most leading? It would be great if I wouldn't have any problem with Roundcube on hosting which you guys suggest. My hosting plan is Mediatemple's (gs) Grid Server and I can't install some patches because of it's Exim MTA (I can't because I don't know how to do =])

I personally use Servage for now, until I can muster up the cash to get a real dedicated server.  I've been happy with them. Plenty of space, and lots of bandwidth.  RoundCube works perfectly fine with their setup; however, I don't think you can create email users via a web interface without using their system.  But I'm okay with that.

HostGator seems to be a rather good company for some people.  All depends on what you want.  You can shop around for them.  If you really want control, a VPS or dedicated is what you need.

Well, I would say Flosoft.biz :)

We offer the FlexServ which is a real dedicated server for just 19,99. Our new offers can be found at: http://next.flosoft.biz/products/flexserv/

If you can spend the money and need the power of a dedicated server, I would recommend The Planet. They have awesome support, excellent uptime and you have complete control over the server.
