There is no such function as recalling a message in the general world of email. Once an email has been delivered to the recipients mail server it is out of your control.
Microsoft Exchange does have a recall function but this works only within your organisation and only if the message is unread etc.
I think Gmail might have an undo function but this is actually a delayed send and clicking the button cancels the send.
