Copy of Replies not going to sent folder although new messages do..

I have a strange issue, not one I’ve come across before.

Replies to email go to the inbox instead of the sent folder.
However when composing new messages they go to the sent folder as the settings say..
Anyone got any idea why roundcube would differentiate between replies and new messages when putting a copy in the sent folder ? And more importantly how to fix it?

When you reply to a message is the "Save sent message in" set to the sent folder or the inbox?
