Error: using twofactor_gauthenticator PLUGIN

The error that I am getting is:

In timezone  America/Los_Angeles]
PHP Warning:  preg_match(): Compilation failed: quantifier does not follow a repeatable item at offset 0 in /var/www/roundcube/plugins/twofactor_gauthenticator/twofactor_gauthenticator.php on line 75

Does anyone know what this error relates to? Thx
